Every day, 15 to 30 polygraph examination requests are posted directly to PEOA members nationwide via the members-only listserve. Most are relationship polygraph requests (husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, thinking the other might be cheating), attorney requests, and employer requests.

Nothing exciting, just typical requests, but if they were all posted here it would make this blog too lengthy to navigate!

Husband suspected wife of cheating. They agree that a polygraph will show the truth. Scouring the Internet, they find solidifying advice from many PEOA websites. They also learn the importance of choosing only an examiner that is a member of Polygraph Examiners Of America.

They arrange a price and appointment with an examiner, then call him back to ask if he is a PEOA member. He said yes. They then called PEOA to confirm his status and satisfaction history, as learned on the Internet.

Oops-- he is NOT a member!

They telephoned him, and told him why they were cancelling. Then they had an appointment with a real PEOA member.
